Always measure your bags

Well here we are two hours before I leave for the airport I measure my carry on and figure out that it's too big. Wonderful. After a frantic search for a little bit smaller duffel bag and fitting everything in there I relaxed a little but the moral of the story is always measure to make sure. I would have hated to get to the airport and realize my carry on was too big. What's a trip without a little pre-flight stress?
