I was given a bouquet of fresh picked flowers,
Raisha was proposed to,
Jordan was called "Shakira",
and we all were serenaded....
All while at dinner! By our waiters!
They were harmless and so sweet but I was cracking up at how stereo-typical the Italian men have been.

Now, for the city of Verona. Oh my gosh, how breath-taking! Seeing old Roman walls and old Roman roads preserved from 2000 years ago is describable! Its literally impossible to fathom that Romans from 2000 years ago passed through the same gated arch that you are walking under! The roads have risen since the Roman days but they have glass platforms in the road where you can see down to where the Roman roads have been preserved! We saw 2000 year old mosaic tile that used to be in someones living room and part of the Roman wall to the city with 2000 year old stone. Seeing things that have been around for so long is just amazing!

We also got to go tour a vineyard in Northern Italy. (right outside of Verona) They had us do a wine tasting and it was a dry red wine, neither of which I really like usually, so I was kind of scared to try it but it was so good! Very strong but very very good! I wanted to buy a bottle but it was 40 euro for a bottle since it is the winery brand and aged so I bought the smaller, newer bottle of the same type of wine since they said it was similar. The winery we toured belongs to the family of Dante Alighieri, the author of Dante's inferno. Its so cool that it's been in the same family so long!
